Primary/Junior Class
In The Primary & Junior classes students will work towards academic goals as set by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Within the Primary and Junior classes students will participate in a typical classroom setting while receiving the individual attention, education plan and unique curriculum necessary to reach their highest potential. The curriculum will also include additional subjects such as Social Skills, Speech & Language, Music Therapy, Yoga Instruction and Occupational Therapy.
Program Dates: September 14, 2009 – June 11, 2010
Programming Hours: Mon-Thurs 9:00-3:30pm, Friday 9:00-12:00pm.
Program Candidates: Children in grades 1-6 who could benefit from an individual academic plan and small class size.
Teacher : Student Ratio
The Primary & Junior class maintain a 1:2 ratio. Class sizes will be limited to 5 children. Within each classroom there will be 1 head teacher and 1 instructor for every two students.
