Kindergarten Programs
Program Dates:
Term 1: September 14, 2009 – December 11, 2009
Term 2: January 4, 2010 – June 11, 2010
Programming Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00am-11:30am & 1:00-3:30pm
Program Candidates: This program is for children ages 3-6 years. Children should have verbal communication skills and be able to participate in a group with a 2:1 ratio.
About the Kindergarten Program:
The program has a high emphasis on peer interaction, group participation and following classroom routines which prepares children socially for a regular kindergarten classroom or preschool program. Our curriculum includes explicit lessons and activities that will develop a foundation of social and emotional skills that are essential for young children to have. Our high instructor to child ratio allows us to meet the needs of each child, while providing them with a valuable social experience that will prepare them for the mainstream classroom.
