1.) Summer Transition Program
Programming Hours:
Ages 3 -10: Full Day Summer Transition Program: 9:00 – 4:00pm
Ages 3 -10: Half Day Summer Transition Program: 9:00am -12:00pm or 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Program Candidates: Our Summer Transition Program is available for children who require one-on-one attention to work on individual academic, school readiness skills or communication goals.
About the Summer Transition Program:
With an instructor, children in this program will participate in social activities with their age group for half of their day and work on individual goals for the other half. If you are interested in your child learning academic skills to prepare them for the school year ahead, then these goals can be worked into your child’s day. This program is also recommended for children with limited verbal communication who would benefit further from one to one instruction during some of their day. Children in the Transition program also have the opportunity to participate in special event days and guest visitors.
2.) Summer Social Skills Program
Programming Hours:
Ages 3 -10: Summer Social Skills Full Day Program: 9:00 – 4:00pm
Ages 3 – 5 : Summer Social Skills Half Day Program: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Ages 6 – 10 : Summer Social Skills Half Day Program: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Program Candidates: Our Summer Social Skills Program is available for children who do not require one-on-one attention and who are working or are at a conversational level of speech.
About the Summer Social Skills Program:
In the Social Skills Program, children will enjoy a wide variety of weekly theme-based activities that target specific social goals. The daily schedule will include time in our classrooms, our mini-gym, new sensory room and outdoor playground to provide children with an opportunity to generalize and apply their skills to diverse social settings. We will also have special event days and surprise guests throughout the summer. We maintain a high instructor to child ratio to ensure that every child’s needs are met in our program.
