Growing up can be challenging, and may cause your child to feel stressed, overwhelmed, worried or angry. Our therapists will use a strength-based approach to build a professional rapport with your child and encourage them to focus on their strengths to support personal growth and positive change. Throughout the sessions, your child’s counsellor will lead an open discussion and encourage your child to identify their own personal goals. After discussing with our team of professionals, the counselor will continue to support your child by developing and implementing intervention and treatment strategies to support their goals. Parents will be provided with a written summary as well as additional strategies.
